Opening of the LEONOR hotel in the heart of Strasbourg’s Grande Ile. This new upscale lifestyle hotel is nestled in a heritage site: the former Central Police Station of the city.
A place that invites to cross memories
The overall interior design concept was built around the history of the place. The building reflects three centuries of architecture while bringing in modernity and a contemporary spirit. The Léonor tells the story of its environment through its architecture but also through the materials and colors used. The sandstone and wood from the Vosges mountains bring it back to its original land. The colors evoke the city’s facades and some details even refer to certain local traditions, such as the Kachelofe stove made of earthenware.
