Villa Koegui Bayonne hotel
GUY NÉPLAZ - Bayonne, France
The Villa Koegui Bayonne hotel and its restaurant, Le Carrré, are a testament to a meeting between modernity and heritage. This hotel with its contemporary façade is located in the heart of the historic district of Bayonne and invites travelers to discover the Basque Country. It also transports guests to the region's historical heritage, through more than 600 traditional works of art, and introduces them to the festive character of the Peñas, gatherings of people around common passions, here reinterpreted in a contemporary way.

A reinterpretation of the Peñas
Villa Koegui also transports its guests to the historical heritage of the region, through more than 600 traditional works of art, and makes them discover the festive character of the Peñas, gatherings of people around common passions, here reinterpreted in a contemporary way.
Bonnat and Helleu
The rooms explore another facet of culture in Bayonne with the staging of the works of Bonnat and Helleu. The life-size impression of the characters creates a specific relationship with their works, an intimate dialogue that does not impose itself on visitors. The characters of the paintings seem to emerge from the walls for a surprising encounter.
